Our commitment to environmental sustainability is reflected in our policy that Amamoor Lodge will achieve environmental, social and business sustainability for the bed and breakfast and our fifty acre property.

Amamoor Lodge near Gympie on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, is a registered Land for Wildlife Property. Land for Wildlife (LFW) is a unique, voluntary program which encourages private land holders to manage land with existing wildlife habitat, and to re-establish habitat through revegetation and restoration projects. The LFW program operates with assistance and cooperation of the Federal Government, Greening Australia and local governments.

Amamoor Lodge has approximately 6 ha of good quality remnant rainforest as well as eucalypt forest. Endangered trees can be seen on the rainforest bush walk. Close to 1000 native trees have been recently planted for a koala corridor to link habitats.
