ConservationFollowing consideration of the importance of environmental sustainability and a commitment to be a benefit to the
Amamoor Lodge near Gympie on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, is a registered Land for Wildlife Property. Land for Wildlife (LFW) is a unique, voluntary program which encourages private land holders to manage land with existing wildlife habitat, and to re-establish habitat through revegetation and restoration projects.
Amamoor Lodge has approximately 6 ha of good quality remnant rainforest as well as eucalypt forest. Endangered trees can be seen on the rainforest bush walk. Close to 1000 native trees have been recently planted for a koala corridor to link habitats.
